Get An Evaluation
You’re concerned that something’s going on with your child’s speech, language, confidence, or social skills. You’re not exactly sure what it is. So what should you do next?
We recommend to set up an appointment with a speech therapist to have your child evaluated. The initial evaluation will help provide you and your child’s therapist with a better understanding of the type and frequency of therapy needed for your child.
The evaluation includes a one on one consultation over the phone, a 1 to 2.5 hour meeting with you and your child to review previous reports, medical history, and conduct standardized testing. A 1.5 to 3 page report is then produced up to two weeks after the evaluation, including: results, professional impressions, recommendations, and goals.
