When children enter school, they will often have good communication skills including giving their opinions and talking about ideas. Their focus will be better and they will use their language skills to learn how to read, write and spell.
When it comes learning words, they start to make connections like how ‘plus’ and ‘add’ mean the same thing as well as using more descriptive words. They will also learn that a word can have two meanings like ‘orange’ as a color and a fruit.
